Back in boarding today. Well, technically, last night, but you get the picture.
Let me say this: it pisses me no end that I spent the whole weekend downloading DLCs for my Bioware RPGs (Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2), including a whole damn expansion to the former, namely Awakening.
Well, at least I'll have something to look forward to when I get back, at least. Although I'm still looking for the Firewalker DLC for ME2, which is kind of a bitch to search for since everyone says it sucks. Ah well. At least I've got Return to Ostagar, which is good for a few pieces of epic loot, and Kasumi, whose pic on the wikia looks totally badass. Not to mention a few mods which allow me to respec. Which is a huge deal, really, in Dragon Age. Which reminds me once again to set up my Let's Play.
On to other matters...
MUST. REMEMBER. TO. DO. CIP. GAAAH.
Ahem.

Innabox.
Oh gawd. It's been so long since I posted. Damned boarding internet screwing up everything. At least it'll be fixed in only another three weeks, eh?
Lots of stuff happened. Like moar pizzamaking on Thursday, where we were folding pizza boxes for hours. Pretty fun, though, especially the parts where I was on the ladder. Epic balancing.
And then, after having pizza for lunch over there, I went back and had pizza for dinner with Jian Hao, Wen Hao, Xi Rui, and Shrey. Outside Common Room 1. Was pretty cool, especially since I had that discount coupon. Which they didn't even take... -.-
Huh. Need to find a way to install dwarf fortress on a mac. That would be so awesome.
Speaking of which: STEAM FOR MAC HAS BEEN RELEASED!!! ALONG WITH PORTAL 2!!!! AARG!
Heh heh. Anyway, need to dash. Boon King and Lu Chen, if you're reading this and haven't already done so, send me your logistics and design plans for Annual Show costumes ASAP. By tomorrow, if possible.

OM NOM NOM NOM
Pizza making's in 7 hours. Ho hum. Nothing to do until then except church, blog, send long-overdue emails about various topics, eat pineapple tarts...
(In case you didn't know, pineapple tarts are my favorite type of pastry. I can probably eat more than any two people combined. Well, maybe not Lesmana.)
There was something on a more serious note that I wanted to blog about a day or so ago, but never got the chance to. Started with 'F' or 'G'. Hmph. Will let you all know when the idea respawns.
Speaking of respawns...
Guan Hao asked me (for the 4th time, I think) to join League of Legends. He's apparently the top ranked Singapore player. I'm still considering, but with the multitude of good games coming out this year (or at least this quarter - do I need to list them?), I may not have the time.
Still something to keep in mind, though.
Aah. Just remembered something else I wanted to say. Updating my long-un-updated sidebar. And putting in a list of cool words that I've listed on this blog. 'Multitude' being one of them as well.
Kink, signing out.

Conclusion.
So, as of 9.50pm last night, I have finished my first playthrough of Mass Effect 2. In case you didn't know the details: Male Renegade Vanguard, on Veteran (suck on THAT, Yen Ter XD). It's an extremely good game, just so you know.
So: the final (supposedly suicidal) mission. Made it out there with almost everyone alive, except for Jack and Tali. Jack got eviscerated (terribly awesome word) by a Collector beam that punched through the Normandy's Hull, while Tali, poor Tali, got headshotted by Harbinger's knockback projectile attack as she was closing a door. Alas, you two. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten.
Well, I know that there is an achievement for getting everyone out alive from the final mission, but - well - they claimed it was a suicidal mission, so it would only make sense if at least some of them died, right?
Sorry. It just appeals to my inner storyteller.
Well, starting a new playthrough, as a female Paragon Adept. Hardcore. Heh Heh Heh.

Go On. Starts With 'R', Ends With 'ambling'.
It's been to long since my last post. Don't know why, but it could have something to do with this damn bandage on my right elbow. Screwing up me typing. Heh.
Lots of stuff to talk about, now...
First Class. A bit (ok, who am I kidding, very) screwed up. Speed was good, and a lot more talking cock, though. That was a surprise, and a pleasant one, at that. It's cool when you actually have the ability to conduct a proper conversation with someone without one party dying for lack of breath. For once. Let's see, what did I talk about... to Yang about sci-fi crossovers (namely, Imperium of Man versus Galactic Empire -- WHO WOULD WIN?), to Yen Ter about sci-fi games (Mass Effect 2. Fun as hell, and a really great universe -- I want to steal some ideas for my own fantasy world), and to Boon King about... his hand injury. Huh. Two out of three ain't bad, to use that term.
Which brings me to my latest bit of irony, and proof that Murphy really exists in this world: my aforementioned elbow injury. Hideously (another awesome word) ironic that I am forced to be absent from school the day after I claim on my MSN that I might not be able to, but for all the wrong reasons. I had a cold, and it got better by the morning, but then I had to go and slip on the toilet mat and crack my elbow on the stone. Nasty. Not to mention painful.
Did I mention ironic?
Oh, and on to music, which I've been meaning to talk about for the longest time.
FFXIII OST is pretty cool. An 85-track album, at least some of it's gotta be. But the thing I like most is that Masashi Hamauzu actually sets the main battle theme as a violin solo. Epic.
Gears of War 2. Composed of Steve Jablonsky (of Transformers OST fame - Listen to it. NOW.) Pretty decent stuff (the character themes are especially sweet), and "Heroic Assault" is beyond awesome. They actually have a shortened version of the song with a much more badass name - called "Armored Prayer". Check 'em out.
Huh. That's it for now. Will keep you all updated on Mass Effect 2 status.
Kink out.

Ramblings.
Today was fun.
Wow. You know I've sunk to such a level when I have to start a blog post with such a stupid and mundane sentence as that. Whatever. At least while writing THIS sentence, I've thought of some things to write about. What irony.
First. I saw Ryan and Richmond today after act, and me and Yang spent ~20 minutes (!) swapping war (read: CCA) stories with them. Very interesting.
Oh, and I was telling Jason and Lu Chen horror stories about Dwarf Fortress on the way to the J8 bus stop. Well, they were laughing, so I guess 'horror' isn't the best word...
(By the way, Lu, I TOLD you to remind me to give you your cert. Fail.)
BTW, Dragon Age playthrough 2's at the final battle, so I'll be starting the 3rd run soon, complete with blog annotations. And screenshots. How exciting!
That goes double for other potential players, however. Yen Ter, Yi Hua, I'm looking at you.
On a side note, PirateBay is down. Damn.
Gah. Must remember to print rations list for me and Boon King to buy tomorrow. And to call Yen Ter to ask what movies he wants. Lots of stuff to do before First Class.
Lucky there's STD tomorrow, huh?

The Internet Is A Scary Place.
Hello, world. Mister Kink is now a Venture. *yay!*
Overnight was fun. Pity I missed the quail-slaying, though, since I had to go see a doctor, and cut my hair, and dump my schoolbag at home, and... yeah. you get the picture.
But it would have been so ridiculously awesome to stand there with a quail body in one hand, blood spurting out of its artery, and its torn-off head in the other, and stand in the middle of that forest clearing and yell "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!"
Memes are awesome, huh?
In other news...
So I was browsing through my bookmarked sites this afternoon, and I nearly (I kid you not) pissed my pants. An announcement so bloody awesome, to make me almost piss my pants. Yeah. It was a link. And that link was...
This.
HOLY SHIT. HOLY HOLY HOLY SHIT. THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING. OH. MY. GOD.
Damn.

RECORD!
Today, Mister Kink is a very happy man.
Boy. Guy. Whatever.
Anyway, what I was going to say was this:
HAHAA! I have a new personal best timing for showering!
Yes, you heard that right! 4.50 for me to take a complete shower (yes, with soap and all, you disgusting little bugger), towel myself dry, and change into clean clothes! That's 4 seconds faster than my previous timing!
That'll be 4.54, for those who can't be bothered to count. Pure win. And my next target is 4.45. I'll keep you updated, don't worry.
Now, on to other news...
I need a freaking to-do list. In this blog, if possible, so I can be reminded of what I do whenever I post. Cunning, eh?
Oh, and if anyone's interested, I am setting up a Dwarf Fortress succession game. Contact me for more details, of you're interested. Stay tuned for updates!

The Update.
So I got gibbed today by Mr. Yuen.
Well, not literally, of course, but when he was sitting there shouting at me I felt like there was a hole in my chest that was spewing out improbable amounts of blood, as well as some fragments of internal organs. Morbid.
'twas an interesting sight to imagine, though; I've never tried to picture a hole in my chest before. And I guess my imagination is much more vivid than Yiming's; he called it 'getting my throat slit'. Goes to show, huh?
Yeah, So We're going to reboot the whole specs collection thing. Hope we can get it right this time.
Anyway, on to more trivial matters. My dog ran through my house the other night and made off with 10 pineapple tarts, the little bastard. Freaking kill-stealer, and the worst part is that I can't steal HIS food in return. Why, the cunning little...
And then there are the two ongoing things I want to work on with this blog. One: a Wheel of Time walkthrough (gasp!). Yeah, I'm going to be commenting on The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, as I read through it for the second time. Expect Snark. With a capital S.
Second is a Dragon Age: Origins playthrough. Can't say much about this, since I haven't finished my second one yet, but Once I finish this one, rest assured i will be trying it again, on Nightmare difficulty. Heh heh heh.

Intermission
So, apparently Mr. Yuen told me that the RInspire article needed to be modified a bit. According to him, I need to a) shorten it a bit and b) formalize it a bit, because it "reads like a blog.".
Oh, man. The irony.
Anyway, he gave me until monday to do it. Enough time to finish, i guess, even if the rest of today is gonna be split between kayaking and chinese tuition. Sucks.
Could be worse, though. Never forget that.
On a side note, I've finally given in, and started playing Dwarf Fortress. Getting over how much of a bitch the manual is to read, it's actually very in-depth and interesting. Kind of like all those other city-building games, but detailed to the near-microscopic level )which kind of makes sense, considering the ASCII art. Strangely addictive.
Kayaking's in 2.5 hours' time. Gotta dash.
